Most of the oil employees in the areas controlled by the Assad regime have refrained from going to work in the oil fields in both the Al-Taym and Al-Ward fields, after the recent incident and the killing of more than 10 employees in the Al-Taym field, in an armed attack, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that some employees resorted to signing long vacations without pay, to escape from work, for fear of recurring attacks.
He added that a large number of workers in the Networks Directorate working to extend high-voltage networks to oil fields left work for fear of armed attacks.
Several incidents and armed attacks have exposed employees of the oil fields in Deir Ezzor, during the recent period, the most recent of which was about two weeks ago, in which more than 10 employees were killed, when unidentified gunmen attacked a bus transporting employees and workers on the outskirts of Al-Taym field, south of Deir Ezzor.
