DeirEzzor24 Network learned, from a private source, of the arrival of a new officer with the rank of colonel in the Military Security Branch in Deir Ezzor.
The source said that the new colonel took over the third department in the branch (investigation department) instead of Major “Zuhair”, who is accused of assassinating the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, called “Khaled Khalaf al-Salama” from the town of Hatla.
The Assad regime suspended Colonel “Zuhair” from his work, temporarily, after accusations leveled at him of his responsibility for the killing of the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Deir Ezzor, “Khaled Al-Salama”.
