The Deir Ezzor Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), announced the launch of work to remove rubble from the goldsmiths’ market and shops located within the government complex in the city of Deir-Ezzor.
This is part of the efforts made to rehabilitate and reorganize the area in preparation for the return of commercial activity.
The Chamber called on goldsmiths’ shop owners and merchants in the relevant area to visit its headquarters, bringing documents proving the property’s occupancy, with the aim of submitting a written request that includes approval to carry out rubble removal work inside and outside the shops, allowing the competent teams to begin cleaning and waste removal operations.
This measure comes as part of a plan aimed at accelerating rehabilitation work in the market, which is considered one of the most prominent commercial centers in the city, which contributes to revitalizing economic activity and creating conditions for the return of merchants and the resumption of their work.
