Rehabilitation work on the administrative offices of the Agricultural Bank continues in the city of Albukamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as part of the first phase of a development plan aimed at improving the level of services provided to farmers and enhancing support for the agricultural sector in the area.
The project is being implemented in cooperation between the district’s administration, the Farmers’ Association, and agricultural associations, as part of efforts to reactivate service institutions related to the agricultural process and raise their efficiency to keep pace with farmers’ needs.
The rehabilitation works include renovating administrative offices and improving the bank’s infrastructure, in addition to equipping the necessary facilities to receive auditors and facilitate the completion of their transactions, which contributes to providing more efficient and organized services.
Farmers hope that the restart of the agricultural bank will facilitate their access to services and support related to agricultural production, which will enhance agricultural activity and stimulate the local economy in the area.
