The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with UNICEF, continues to implement a project to rehabilitate and replace sewage networks in the city of Al-Busayra, as part of a plan aimed at improving infrastructure and raising the level of sewage services in the city.
The project includes the implementation of work on clearing and cleaning sewage lines and inspection rooms, excavation and backfilling work, the construction of local manholes and household connections, in addition to implementing networks for draining rainwater, establishing new inspection rooms, and providing the project with operation and maintenance supplies.
The works also include installing polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 40 cm and a total length of 1,250 metres, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the network, improving water drainage and reducing bottlenecks.
