DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Gasoline filling operations via smart cards have almost completely stopped in regime-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor province, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24 network.
This is more than a month after the Assad regime raised its price via card to 11,880 SYP per liter for private cars.
One of the workers at the gas stations in the Deir Ezzor countryside said that the demand for full diesel in the gas station reached 5,000 liters, none of which was sold or disbursed due to the price of diesel on the black market (stalls) amounting to 6,000 SYP, coming via river smuggling routes from SDF-controlled areas.
The decision to raise diesel excluded only public transport vehicles and caused the prices of some materials to double due to the increase in transport fees.
