The Raqqa Health Directorate, represented by the Medication Control Department, intensified its inspection campaigns on pharmaceutical facilities in cooperation with the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate and the Raqqa Pharmacists Syndicate, as part of its efforts to strengthen oversight of the pharmaceutical sector and ensure the safety of health services provided to citizens.
The inspection tours included community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, and drug warehouses, and resulted in the detection of a number of violations, the closure of irregular pharmacies, and the organization of the necessary seizures against violators, in preparation for referring them to the Ministry of Health to complete legal procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The Raqqa Health Directorate confirmed the continuation of its periodic oversight campaigns, with the aim of protecting drug security and ensuring the circulation of medicines in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, which contributes to preserving the health of citizens and improving the quality of pharmaceutical services in the governorate.
