Armed men attacked a jeweler’s house in Asawa town in the western Deir Ezzor countryside, using light and medium weapons.
According to D24 network correspondent, the armed men who were driving two pickup cars with machine guns, opened intense fire at the house, in order to break into it.
The correspondent indicated that the armed men were calling themselves the general security of the SDF, and that they tried to break into the house.
The correspondent noted that the people in Asawa town intervened immediately, causing the armed men to escape without entering the house.
It is noted that robberies and kidnappings are widespread in areas controlled by the SDF, where the locals accuse SDF-linked forces being behind the robberies.
D24 network recieved a video showing the jeweler’s house, which the armed men tried to enter and steal.
