A number of guards and workers in al-Heil oil field in the Badiyah of al-Sukhna in Homs countryside were killed and wounded yesterday, Thursday, in an attack by Daesh on the field, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Deir Ezzor 24 got two names of those killed in the attack: (Khalil Khallouf al-Jaber) and (Majeed al-Samir), two workers from Deir Ezzor – Al-Kharitah town in the western Deir Ezzor countryside, who were working at the time of the attack.
According to informed sources, elements from Assad’s forces were also killed in the attack, but their number is still unknown, and the fate of some people who were present in the field is also still unknown.
It is noteworthy that Daesh has recently intensified its attacks against Assad’s forces and their Iranian and Russian allies in Deir Ezzor, particularly in the Badiyah region, which pushed Assad’s forces to launch a military campaign against the group in the badiyah of Deir Ezzor.
