A private source told DeirEzzor24 network that a group of officials of the Assad regime and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia in Deir Ezzor seized agricultural lands east of Deir Ezzor through unofficial methods.
The source added that the governor of Deir Ezzor, “Fadil al-Najjar”, along with Major General “Mahmoud Bilal, the provincial police chief” and both Haj “Askar” and Haj “Malik”, the two leaders in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia, seized land in the sixth square in the town of Al-Mariya, southeast of Deir Ezzor airport, after cleaning it.
