Today, the National Defense militia (NDF) arrested a number of its members at one of its checkpoints in Al-Shoula area in the southern badiyah of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
The correspondent said that the militia took the identity cards of the members and referred them for investigation, because one of the checkpoint members escaped to the areas controlled by the Syrian democratic forces (SDF) after he sold 14.5-caliber bullets.
The NDF militia has opened a thorough investigation into the incident, especially that the member had escaped to areas controlled by the SDF.
