On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the International Coalition launched a campaign on smuggling locations on the bank of the Euphrates in the village of Bariha and city of al-Busaira, eastern Deir Ezzor.
Four military vehicles and a pick up vehicle raided the locations amidst drones overflying the area.
The campaign is a part of others to fight smuggling from the SDF areas to the Assad regime areas on the opposite bank of the Euphrates.
