A clash erupted between fighters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) militia and fighters of the National Defense (NDF) militia in the city of Deir Ezzor. The clash injured an IRGC fighter.
The clash occurred on the perimeter of the suspended bridge in the Al-Huwayqah neighborhood in Deir Ezzor after the IRGC fighters prevented the NDF’s fighters from swimming near an IRGC’s checkpoint in the area.
The clash lasted half an hour, hence the Assad regime’ Military Police intervened to stop it.
