On Thursday, September 10, 2020, four second-hand medical equipment trucks arrived at the Aysha Hospital in the city of al-Bukamal.
The equipment included old beds, surgical equipment, and oxygen cylinders.
Hezbollah militia’ vehicles escorted the trucks. The Hezbollah militia controls the hospital and nearby area.
The trucks arrived amidst deteriorated health conditions with coronavirus spread as the Assad regime health sector failed to fight the virus on the level of medicine, equipment, and medical staff.
