Leaders from the Revolutionary Guard militia are seeking to seize homes and shops in the city of Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the leaders’ goal was to buy shops in the area extending from Al Tayyara Roundabout to the city’s Corniche, and they employed real estate brokers to communicate with property owners to sell them to them.
He added that a group of leaders intend to launch their own commercial project, through which they hide drug trafficking operations.
It is noteworthy that this project was proposed several times, but the Revolutionary Guard militia official called “Hajj Askar” rejected it due to the presence of important headquarters in the region, especially the headquarters of the Afghans and Pakistan. After he left Albukamal injured, the leaders sought to open their project again.
