Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) militia’ fighters opened fire heavily in the village of al-Hamdan and al-Hajanah street in the city of al-Bukamal. The fighters opened fire in honor of Yousef Mahmoud al-Hamdan Abu Isa, who is the general and military commander of the Regiment 47th militia after he returned from Damascus.
Earlier, al-Hamdan was in charge of reconciliation for people from the al-Mashahida tribe who would like to return to the area. He attracted those who returned to join the Iranian militias before he led the Regiment 47th militia.
