Sources told Deir Ezzor 24 that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps militia (IRGC) transported unknown bodies to al-badiya of the village of Al-Suwaiyia in al-Bukamal countryside, eastern Deir Ezzor.
The sources added that the IRGC buried the bodies in graves without tombstones or signs to distinguish the graves. This is confirmed that the IRGC only wanted to get rid of the bodies.
The sources emphasized that this is not the first time the IRGC buries bodies this way.
The sources suspected the bodies to belong to IRGC’ Afghan or Pakistani fighters who were killed in Deir Ezzor.
The IRGC almost controls the city of al-Bukamal and its countryside, eastern Deir Ezzor, as al-Bukamal is the IRGC’ operations room in Eastern Syria.
