Iraqi militias loyal to the Assad regime have stolen antiquities from Al-Salhiyah area in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, after continuous searching by those militias in the area.

According to D24 network correspondent, the Iraqi militias smuggled valuable antiquities from Al-Bukamal city countryside to Iraq.

The ongoing smuggling raised tension between the Assad’s forces and the Iraqi militias against the background of sharing antiquities in Al-Bukamal countryside among them.

And also other foreign militias loyal to the Assad regime have been digging for antiquities in Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadeen countrysides east of Deir Ezzor, using old-fashioned ways.

It is noted that the Iranian and Iraqi militias control all the key areas of people’s life in all over the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, mainly the areas close to Iraq.
