DeirEzzor24 exclusive report

Over the past two days, Iran-backed militias have sent dozens of members of Unit 313 of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia to the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter of the Ezzor 24 Network.

Our correspondent said that the members arrived via buses belonging to the 17th Division of Assad’s forces to the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

He added that the Iranian-backed militias distributed the members to a number of cities and towns, including Al-Bulil, Al-Mayadeen, and Al-Ashara Al-Salihiya along the contact lines with the areas controlled by the SDF, and provided the members with rocket weapons and mortar shells.

These reinforcements for the Iranian-backed militias in eastern Deir Ezzor come amid escalating military operations between Assad’s forces and affiliated militias against the SDF in Deir Ezzor.
