DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said today that the process of selling bread in bakeries in the city of Al-Mayadeen takes place according to nepotism, favoritism, and kinship with members of the Iranian-backed militias.
He added that priority in receiving bread goes to Iranian-backed militia members and those close to them, while the rest of the population is forced to wait through the outlets designated for sale to receive their rations.
The people of the city of Al-Mayadeen complain about the poor quality of the bread and the taste of high acidity due to the “large proportion of yeast” in it, which causes the bread to turn into crumbs that are not fit to eat, once the bread bundle is opened.
