Iran-backed militias are on a state of alert in Deir Ezzor

The city of Al-Mayadeen is witnessing a state of alert among the ranks of Iran-backed militias, with the latter evacuating a number of foreign leaders and transporting them outside the city to avoid air strikes, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.

According to the reporter, the Lebanese Hezbollah militia transferred all its leaders and members from the city of Al-Mayadeen towards the capital, Damascus, and kept some local members in the city of Al-Mayadeen with the intention of guarding and protecting its military headquarters.

Iran-backed militias in Deir Ezzor have been on alert since the recent raids that targeted their positions in Deir Ezzor.
