On Wednesday, the International Coalition held a meeting with dignitaries and representatives of the Deir Ezzor governorate, in the hall of the Deir Ezzor Civil Council in the 7 kilometers area, northern Deir Ezzor.
The attendees discussed the political, security, and service situation in the area, the BAZ-NEWS reporter reported. The dignitaries demanded the coalition to settle the conditions of detainees in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)’ prisons and help moving families that would like to leave the al-Hol Camp.
The dignitaries demanded the coalition to increase cheap fuel in the area, increase agricultural production, and provide modern medical necessities and medicine for medical centers in the area.
The coalition’s delegation emphasized their demand for the responsible company to increase the amount of sugar from 39 to 50 tons in 24 hours to end the sugar crisis that the residents suffer due to, and traders exploit.
The delegation denied the rumors about Russian forces’ intent to enter areas east of the Euphrates. The delegation demanded the dignitaries to find a joint work mechanism to eliminate smuggling, which causes monopoly of goods, their unavailability in markets, and increase their prices.
The dignitaries demanded a political representation from Arabs inside and outside; however, the coalition responded that there will be broader meetings to discuss the political representation of the area, according to the BAZ-NEWS’ reporter.
