DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Theft operations have increased dramatically in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, affiliated with the Assad forces, recently, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that those involved in the thefts are mostly militias affiliated with Assad’s forces, where the National Defense Militia and the Fourth Division lead sheep theft, starting from the Ma’dan area in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, all the way to the town of al-Kharta, west of Deir Ezzor.
The thefts reached the cotton crops from its collection centers, as happened a few days ago when 17 cotton shells, i.e. approximately 3 tons, were stolen from the Al-Shamitiya Association by three members, two of whom were arrested by the villagers.
It is worth noting that the phenomenon of theft has grown exponentially. There is a large number of people in the Assad regime-controlled areas of Deir Ezzor due to the spread of unofficial militias, and the elements of these militias have jumped on the laws of the state.
