DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the markets of the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, have been experiencing for more than 15 days the loss of firewood for heating.

He indicated that the loss of firewood came suddenly before the entry of the winter season, which constitutes a crisis for the people of the city, especially with the rise in diesel prices.

The members of the National Defense Militia took advantage of the loss of firewood with traders to raise a kilo of “looting” firewood to 700 Syrian pounds.
