Today, Wednesday, more than 1,000 civilians were able to flee from Daesh-held areas in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside to the areas controlled by the SDF.

The exodus of the families from the areas under the control of Daesh came after the the SDF had advanced from more than one direction in the organization last pocket east of the Euphrates.

As for the military developments, many of the SDF elements were killed in a trap by Daesh in Al-Baghuz town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

Daesh presence has recently declined to a great extent, with Daesh remaining in a very small area east of the Euphrates, after it collapsed in the region.

It’s noteworthy that the SDF and the International Coalition are close to ending Daesh completely east of the Euphrates.
