On Friday, September 19, 2020, a Hezbollah militia’ patrol prevented residents of the al-Rashadah neighborhood in the city of al-Mayadeen from holding Jum’a prayers in the Ali bin-Abi Taleb Mosque.
When the residents asked Hezbollah fighters about the reason behind the prevention, they pointed their guns and shouted at the residents saying:”These are the orders go pray in another mosque.”
Iranian militias assaulted mosques and worshipers in al-Mayadeen, especially in the Ali bin-Abi Taleb Mosque.
