Powerful explosions rocked several areas in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside (west of the Euphrates), according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that sounds of explosions were heard in the areas of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside (east of the Euphrates) coming from the vicinity of Al-Mayadeen city near Al-Rahba castle, al-Baloam area and Buqruss town.
Our correspondent also noted that similar explosions were heard in the badiyahs of al-Mayadeen and Al-Bukamal, between Ein al-Ali area (in Al-Quriya city) and Al-Bukamal countryside.
The reason of the explosions, and the targeted positions haven’t been known until now, but it is most likely to be Israeli air strikes have targeted positions of Iranian militias west of the Euphrates.
It is indicated that nearly an hour ago, Israeli airstrikes targeted a research center of Assad’s forces and several arms depots of Iranian militias north of Aleppo.
