DeirEzzor24 exclusive report :
Informed sources told DeirEzzor 24 network that Haj Mahdi returned to the city of Deir Ezzor, to promote himself, with the aim of gaining support, calling for his appointment as supreme commander of the Iranian forces in Syria and the eastern region.
Al-Haj Mahdi left Deir Ezzor for Damascus about a month ago, against the background of his candidacy for the position of commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia in Syria, where another contender for the position emerged.
