On Wednesday, April 21, unidentified gunmen attacked a headquarters of the National Defense Militia (NDF) in al-Asharah city eastern Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the gunmen targeted a headquarters of the NDF militia, near the industrial school in the city, and stole motorcycles the militiamen had stolen previously, which led to a clash between the gunmen and the members of the headquarters after they noticed the theft.
It is worth mentioning that the NDF militia is active in robberies and looting, especially theft of motorcycles, where it collects them in houses and sends them to other provinces, to sells them at high prices after coordinating with Assad forces’ checkpoints on Deir Ezzor-Palmyra highway.
