Fighters injured in clashes between ND and Liwaa al-Quds militias

This morning, the National Defense (ND) militia exchanged fire with the Liwaa al-Quds militia in the town of Buqruss, eastern Deir Ezzor. The clash injured three ND’ fighters and a fighter of the Liwaa al-Quds.

The clash erupted due to stealing two guns from the Liwaa al-Quds militia fighters and accusing ND’ fighters of the incident.

The clash lasted two hours; however, the Russian Military Police intervened to stop the clash.

Clashes between militias in the Deir Ezzor countryside are common amidst weapons spread and lack of accountability.
