The Emergency Committee in Deir Ezzor Directorate continued maintenance works of rain-water drainage grid in addition to the installation of metallic covers of sewage points in the area near the museum and Al-Hwaidi hospital.
These works are included within the committee’s efforts put to improve the infrastructure and to prevent rain-water gathering in streets in winter which contributes to the facilitation of traffic and the reduction of damages resulting from heavy rainfall.
Deir Ezzor suffers from the bad conditions of roads and drainage grids which represents a daily challenge that overburdens inhabitants as the suffering due to water gathering and streets damage becomes frequent with each rainfall.
