On Thursday, January 7,2020, a Daesh landmine exploded in a military pick up vehicle, injuring seven National Defense (ND) militia’ fighters on the perimeter of the Hamma area in the al-Bashri mountainous area in the western badiya of Deir Ezzor.
On the same day, an ND group and the 5th Corps forces headed to comb the perimeter of the al-Bishri Mountain. After the forces surrounded a location thought to be sheltering Daesh members, landmines exploded, injuring ND fighters.
The forces retreated following the landmines exploding.
