A Member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and three members of the Assad regime’s airforce intelligence service were injured when a clash broke out between the two sides on Tuesday, October 6, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
According to our correspondent, at 6 a.m. yesterday, the airforce intelligence members stationed on the bank of the Euphrates River opposite to al-Tayanah town east of Deir Ezzor targeted a patrol of the SDF near the Euphrates River bank in the town, injuring a member of the SDF, and causing a clash to break out between the two sides.
Our correspondent indicated that the SDF conducted intensive patrols in the area following the incident.
Assad’s forces and the security branches in the areas of Deir Ezzor west of the Euphrates occasionally target checkpoints and patrols of the SDF on the other side of the river.
