Large cargo planes, with three warplanes accompanying them, airdropped supplies in regime-held areas in Deir Ezzor today. They were exactly airdropped near the grain silos adjacent to Al-Juwra neighborhood and near the dorms on the highway of Deir Ezzor/Damascus, in addition to Al Qusor neighborhood. The regime forces were seen heading towards the supplies.
ISIS had attempted to shoot down the cargo planes and the other warplanes accompanying them, with its anti-aircraft weaponry but failed.
It has not been confirmed yet whether the supplies were food aid or ammunition and weaponry airdropped to regime forces in Deir Ezzor.
