Deir Ezzor’s firefighting division battled to put out a fire that destroyed a home in the besieged al-Joura neighborhood today. The reason that caused this massive fire remains unknown.
An 85-years-old woman who fainted as she was near the home at the time of the fire was rescued and transported by a rescue team to a hospital situated in the Assad-regime held territory in Deir Ezzor city.
Firefighters are also in charge of supplying water to a number of regime public institutions, ovens and civilians in need due to the shortage of water the city is facing, which has been caused by unavailability of fuel whose quantity has recently diminished in the besieged areas.
Thousands of civilians living in al-Joura and al-Qusour neighborhoods are going through deplorable and lamentable siege’s conditions, as all of them do not have their basic needs met.
