Sources for D24 network confirmed that yesterday, Friday, elements from the National defense militia in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside took to fighting amongst themselves.
The sources indicated that an element from the national defence had fired directly at a group of the same militia, wounding four elements of the national defence.
The sources noted that the elements fought over a girl with each other in Al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor.
As a result, the National defence militia intervened, arresting the element who opened fire and then he was transferred to Deir Ezzor city.
The militias have been fighting each other, especially in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, where dozens of militias are deployed.
