The Training Department of the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in Deir Ezzor Governorate implemented an awareness session in the city of Albukamal, as part of the campaign launched by the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management under the slogan “Your awareness of your work”.
The session included explaining the mechanisms for dealing with fires, providing tips and advice for preserving agricultural crops, in addition to clarifying methods of communicating with emergency teams and the mechanism for reporting accidents. The components of the emergency bag and the importance of preparing it in advance to deal with emergency situations were also introduced.
The campaign included distributing awareness brochures and posters to civilians and farmers in different areas, with the aim of raising community awareness, promoting a culture of public safety, and reducing the risks of crop fires.
The Training Department stressed the need for everyone to adhere to preventive guidelines, in order to preserve lives, property and agricultural crops, as part of the governorate’s efforts to enhance community security and safety.
