Most of the checkpoints belonging to Assad’s forces in the Deir Ezzor countryside under their control were on high alert, accompanied by a major check on passers-by’s ID cards and a thorough search of cars, according to what was reported by the DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that Assad’s forces said that there was information about Daesh members infiltrating areas under their control in Deir Ezzor, and did not specify the number of infiltrating Daesh members or the places from which they entered.
Last night, sites belonging to Assad’s forces and their affiliated militias were attacked on the outskirts of the town of Maadan Ateeq in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
