A military meeting was held today for commanders from the Russian Air Force and Assad’s forces at Deir Ezzor Military Airport, according to what a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the meeting was attended by officers from the Air Force Intelligence Department coming from Damascus, while the Russian military delegation included Russian generals coming from the Hmeimim base.
He added that the Russian delegation met with military leaders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.
It is noteworthy that this meeting comes after the recent strikes that targeted Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor.
