A private source in the Red Crescent warehouse told DeirEzzor24 that security officers and Assad’s forces seized food belonging to local people.
The source said that dozens of food parcels are being supplied at a rate of ten (cartons) per day for the benefit of the security committee officers, branch leaders and influential people in Deir Ezzor province.
He added that the shortfall in the quantities of food baskets is being compensated by delaying the period of their distribution for more than three months.
Assad’s officers use their power to rob the humanitarian aid allocated to the people, in full view of everyone, without any deterrent to their practices.
