On Monday, September 14, Assad regime’s security branches launched a campaign to search for young men wanted for forced conscription.
The campaign started in the early morning hours and covered all the city’s neighborhoods. Patrols spread in the main points and streets of the city, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
The correspondent confirmed that the campaign arrested about 20 young men of the age suitable for compulsory service, and took them to the military police prisons in the city, and that the campaign will continue until the end of the week, according to a source from one of the security branches.
The security branches has carried out many campaigns in the areas of Deir Ezzor countryside, that are controlled by Assad’s forces (west of the Euphrates).
