Assad forces launch campaign on al-Bishri mountainous area, western Deir Ezzor

The Assad forces’ 5th Corps and National Defense (ND) militia launched a campaign to comb the perimeter of the al-Bishri mountainous area, western Deir Ezzor.

The forces reached new posts that Daesh used to be operative in, and that the Assad forces have not reached before.

The campaign followed Daesh frequent attacks on the Assad forces in Deir Ezzor badiya, as these attacks increased over the recent weeks, killing and injuring dozens of Assad forces.
