Today, Tuesday (June 16th), a checkpoint of Fatimiyeon militia intercepted a military convoy of the Russian forces while heading to Al-Bukamal city east of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Sources told Deir Ezzor 24 network that a military convoy of the Russian forces was heading to Al-Bukamal city with the mission of attracting volunteers to fight in Libya for the militias, but a checkpoint of Fatimiyeon militia near (Al-Tayyara roundabout) also known as “Afghan checkpoint” intercepted the convoy and prevented it from entering al-Bukamal without prior approval of (Hajj Salman).
According to the source, the leadership of Assad’s forces talked to Fatimiyeon militia to allow the Russian forces to enter Al-Bukamal in order to attract young men to fight in Libya, but the militia refused to allow them.
It is indicated that the Russian forces in Deir Ezzor have opened the door of volunteering for the people of Deir Ezzor to fight in Libya, and so far, they have sent two batches of volunteers from Deir Ezzor to Libya.
