Today, the American adviser “William Rupak” visited Al-Kasrah area in the western Deir Ezzor countryside and met the members of the civil and military Councils of Deir Ezzor.
According to D24 correspondent, the American adviser was received by Ghassan al-Yousef, Chairman of Deir Ezzor civil council and Ahmed Hamed al-Khubel, known as Abu Khawla, Chairman of Deir Ezzor military council.
The American Adviser met the leaders and elders of some tribes, including Hajim Al-Bashir, one of Al-Baggarah tribal leaders, Khaled Khalil Al-Mouzer from Al-Manasrah tribe, Muhammad Al-Asa’d Al-Bader from Al-Busaleh tribe, Khalaf Al-As’ad from Al-Khanjar tribe, and Nuri Al-Humaish from Al-Obaidat tribe.
According to our correspondent, at the meeting the American Adviser affirmed his country’s continuing support to eliminate the terrorist organizations represented by Daesh and also its sleeper cells.
The American Adviser also gave his assurances that the United States will continue its support to Deir Ezzor’s civil and military Councils, and to rehabilitate the infrastructure in the region, until a political settlement in Syria is reached.
