Al-Sakhrat silos in the northern countryside of Raqqa continued to receive the wheat crop as part of the Syrian Grains Corporation’s plan for the harvest season, with the quantities received so far reaching 19,641,620 tons of durum and soft wheat.
The center witnesses a high supply rate, receiving farmers daily from the early morning hours until the late hours of the night, with an average of approximately 1,700 tons per day, ensuring smooth receiving operations and accelerating marketing procedures.
The Foundation explained that wheat undergoes a series of technical procedures, starting with drawing samples and conducting laboratory tests to ensure that they conform to approved specifications, before storing them in cells, silos and containers.
This comes within the framework of continuing to accommodate the season’s crop and securing storage operations, noting that the capacity of Al Sakhrat silo center is 12 thousand tons.
