DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Deir Ezzor 24 network learned from informed sources that the Ahram Hawala office in Deir Ezzor has suspended the distribution of financial grants from the World Food Organization (FAO).
The organization had allocated 250 thousand Syrian pounds, as compensation for agricultural fertilizer, after distributing 200 kg of wheat seed to farmers, where the amount was distributed to the beneficiaries for a period of 5 days, and then the distribution stopped suddenly for various reasons.
According to the sources, the reason for the suspension was due to a dispute between the organization and the Central Bank regarding the exchange, while local sources said that the suspension was due to the detection of corruption files in the organization’s administration in Syria.
