A number of SDF forces from Al-Sour were wounded, in addition to civilians from the village of Barshim, as a result of the SDF raid targeting the village of Barshim, north of Deir Ezzor, and an Asayish member was killed.
The raid was carried out with the aim of curbing abuses of the Khabour irrigation canal, and prosecuting those who burned electricity poles for operating water stations on the canal, which caused an armed clash between the residents and the raid patrol, and deaths on both sides.
The international coalition forces toured around the mouth of the Tire irrigation canal, to see its reality, as it was subjected to sabotage and theft of electricity poles, which prompted the people to seek help from the SDF, which worked to pursue the saboteurs.
