Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said that a new militia came from Aleppo to Al-Bukamal city on Thursday, 25-7-2019.

Our correspondent added that about 150 elements of a militia calling itself (Imam Al-Hujjah Brigade) arrived in al-Bukamal city with full military equipment, 4×4 vehicles and military trucks, in order to establish headquarters in the city and start their activities.

The correspondent noted that (Imam Al-Hujjah Brigade) militia is directly affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, that controls Al-Bukamal city and the surrounding areas.

It is noteworthy that al-Bukamal city, which is the easternmost city of Deir Ezzor province on the Syrian-Iraqi border, has been under the control of the Iranian militias and the Assad’s forces since late 2017.
