“Hamad al-Ramadan”, from Aiyash town west of Deir Ezzor, was killed yesterday, Friday (July 10) in Silo town by elements of a checkpoint for Assad’s forces in the city, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
“Al-Ramadan” quarreled with the elements of the checkpoint when they did not allow him to cross, as he was driving a van carrying passengers, because of which the elements of the checkpoint shot at him, killing him and injuring two of the passengers, the correspondent added.
It is worth mentioning that “Al-Ramadan” is a member of Assad regime’s provincial office in Deir Ezzor, a volunteer with the National Defense Militia, and sometimes works as a passenger bus driver.
