A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that the Russian forces have strengthened their points in Deir Ezzor’s badiyah (west of the Euphrates) by sending elements of the regime’s air intelligence branch to guard those points.
According to the source, the Russian forces have sent the elements of air intelligence forces to al-Nishan and Al-Taim oil fields, which have been taken as military bases by the Russian forces.
The source also noted that the Russian forces have increased the number of checkpoints and military posts on the international highway.
It is indicated that over the past month, the Russian forces have reinforced their presence in Deir Ezzor by bringing military convoys from the countryside of Raqqa province to Deir Ezzor.
